Ilana Kirsztajn is a public health professional who has significant experience working internationally to develop health systems to combat HIV, tuberculosis and malaria epidemics. Throughout her career she has worked with the Clinton Foundation to assist the Ministry of Health in Mozambique to develop a diagnostic system for infant HIV; managed large technical assistance projects while with USAID; served as advisor to the Minister of Health in Lesotho; and most recently focused on sustainability of health systems as a Strategy and Policy Advisor at the Global Fund to Fight HIV, TB, and Malaria, the largest financier of health systems in the world.
